Kaitlynn and I spent a lot of time planning different things to do for Kelly over his birthday weekend. Saturday, Kelly had bible study with the guys in our sunday school at 8:30am, and his first golf lesson 1:00pm. Kaitlynn and I headed to the Marietta Square for the Farmers Market while Kelly was at bible study. We finished off the evening at one of his favorite restaurants - Outback!

We rolled them in rice cereal to help her pick them up! They were a bit slippery :o)

Sunday was just as relaxing.... we spent our morning at church, before a restful afternoon during Kaitlynn's 3-hour nap! We took her to the swimming pool for the first time, and had one of Kelly's favorites for dinner - Chinese!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KELLY!!
I absolutely LOVE to plan things. While Kelly worked, Kaitlynn and I put together lots of things for "dada's" birthday. After Kaitlynn's morning nap, we headed down to Smyrna to have lunch with Kelly. Before I picked him up, Kaitlynn & I met one of his co-workers in the parking garage to secretly drop off a carrot cake I made for everyone to enjoy in honor of Kelly's birthday. After lunch, Kaitlynn and I headed inside the office to wish Kelly a happy birthday with his co-workers.
Once Kelly made it home, we headed to the pool for an evening swim. After the success at the pool yesterday, we thought it would be a nice way to relax several evenings a week. After our pool adventure, while Kelly was handling Kaitlynn's bedtime, I worked on his birthday dinner - Chicken Parmesan. It's one of his favorite meals that I cook. I had also made a small carrot cake for us to enjoy after dinner!
