...Our amazing life...

My photo
We met in June of 2007, dated for 7 months & got engaged - January 1, 2008. We were married on July 26, 2008 and welcomed our daughter, Kaitlynn Leane into the world on August 20, 2009. We said hello & goodbye to our precious son, baby Joshua on December 5, 2011. We are blessed knowing that we'll be with him again one day in Heaven. We also have two sweet beagles, Willa (4) and Sadie (1). God has truly blessed our family in numerous ways! We both have extremely wonderful and loving parents, plus amazing friends! We couldn't be any happier!

Vacation & Father's Day

Kelly and I spent some time at the Isle of Palms this past week while Kaitlynn stayed with her Nana in Greenville. It was wonderful getting away for a few days with Kelly! Before we headed out, Kelly went with me to Kaitlynn's swim lesson. Here are a few pictures!!

Kelly celebrated his first Father's Day - June 20, 2010. This was also a very special day, because 10 months ago Kaitlynn was born. She wished him a happy Father's Day bright and early around 5:45am! My dad came over and spent some time with us as well for Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to a wonderful husband and daddy!!

Happy Fathers Day/Grandpa's Day to my dad!

One very interesting thing that Kaitlynn is doing these days..... naps has become very fun for her lately - she has been playing in the crib before going to sleep for her naps..... she is now rolling onto her tummy several times before going to sleep. Maybe crawling is in our near future!!

HUMIDITY.....

This past week was pretty typical in the Crawford home from music class to swim lessons.... morning walks and running errands.... lunch dates solo & with my dad..... to a productive & quick weekend!! Although the humidity & heat was rather annoying, we had a very productive week & weekend. Check out some new pictures below!

My favorite picture of our almost 10-month old!!
8 teeth total. The 8th broke through on June 11th.

Kaitlynn's favorite new object to chew on..... the remote control.

One of Nana Crawford's co-workers made this dress for Kaitlynn!
She wore it to church for the first time - it looked beautiful on her!

Hello June?!

Where did the last 6 months go?? How is it already June?! The last time I checked, we were celebrating Christmas with Kaitlynn for the first time, and she was getting her first tooth..... now it's June, she's almost a 1-year old, and has 8 teeth! Well.... 7 to be honest, but the 8th is coming through this week.

Thankfully we have a daughter that absolutely loves anything to do with the water. She has always enjoyed bath time, and really likes going to our neighborhood pool. This week was a big first for us - we started Kaitlynn's swim lessons at Aqua-Tots. She is in Level 1 (0-18 months). I was a bit hesitant at first, but as soon as I saw how much fun Kaitlynn was having during the lesson, the fears went away. However, after her first month - we're learning to submerge them into the water. We'll see how I handle that :o)

A little verbal look into Kaitlynn's swim lesson........
*Playtime in the water
*Songs are always used with certain skills
*Learning to get out of the pool
*Learning to get into the pool
*Floating on back with a portion of her head in the water
*Learning to crawl out of the pool using the steps

Waiting on Kaitlynn's first swim lesson!

Kaitlynn is already the perfect student at 9.5 months old!

Kelly and I spent a lot of time outside this weekend between planting 8 new trees, knock-out rose bushes, and taking Kaitlynn to our neighborhood pool party! I'm not too sure if you remember, but in our backyard we had 6 white pine trees - AKA - not too great or pretty for our backyard! My dad brought some volunteers by and got the pine trees to use on Friday, and then our trees were delivered Saturday morning. We chose 5 Cryptomeria (Evergreen trees), 2Crate Myrtles (white & lavender), and 1 Japanese Red Maple. Needless to say, Kelly was very anxious about planting them so during Kaitlynn's morning nap on Saturday we got our two crate myrtles planted! We spent some time at our neighborhood pool party Saturday afternoon, and relaxed around the house on Sunday!
