...Our amazing life...

My photo
We met in June of 2007, dated for 7 months & got engaged - January 1, 2008. We were married on July 26, 2008 and welcomed our daughter, Kaitlynn Leane into the world on August 20, 2009. We said hello & goodbye to our precious son, baby Joshua on December 5, 2011. We are blessed knowing that we'll be with him again one day in Heaven. We also have two sweet beagles, Willa (4) and Sadie (1). God has truly blessed our family in numerous ways! We both have extremely wonderful and loving parents, plus amazing friends! We couldn't be any happier!

Welcome March!

Welcome March, and hopefully some spring weather!
One of my all-time favorite days is St. Patty's Day! So, to start the month of March off
right, Kaitlynn was in one of her St. Patty's Day outfits :)

Things have started moving in a fast pace around our home these past few weeks. With our condo going under contract, trying to find a home ourselves, and figuring out how to handle moving within 4 weeks, finding a temporary home for one month, a baby, and a dog - Kelly and I are pretty exhausted. However, on top of everything going on, God truly has blessed us with our wonderful marriage, beautiful daughter, loyal dog, Kelly's fantastic job, my ability to stay at home with Kaitlynn, and signing the contract on our new home!! You heard us right - we found our 'forever home.' It will not be finished until the middle of April, and our closing date is set for April 21st . Here are a couple pictures of the house at this point so you can get an idea of our home :)

On top of everything going on, we've tried to find some down time to rest and relax! However, as always, our weeks are always so busy. On top of our busy schedules, we had one very annoying incident - our cable & internet went out for 4 days. Normally this wouldn't bother me, but since I am at home these days, it is nice to have some connection to the outside world through the internet & TV. We did get our cable & internet fixed the same time that we had the garage repairman here, and my playgroup! HAHA talk about complete madness!

precious outfit from Chris & Angi! Kaitlynn of course
loved the ribbons to chew on :)

What we saw on our TV for 4 straight days! Annoying!

Kaitlynn is getting much better at supporting herself while sitting!

Hard to believe she's 6.5 months old!

Thankfully our weekend slowed down and allowed us to spend a lot of time packing. With the beautiful weather, we were able to spend some time outside as well. After two weeks of missing church, we finally made it back for service. We're so blessed to be a part of such a wonderful church family! We also headed up to our home site to take a look at how things are moving along!

Packed boxes & lots more to pack! So exciting!

The girls were ready to relax after all the packing!

Heading to church.... thanks to Nanny Crawford -
Kaitlynn's Great-Grandmother for the adorable dress!

This past week was pretty difficult for both Kelly and I. Kaitlynn was experiencing a huge decline in her bottles..... from 5-6oz. to 1-3oz. every four hours. This lasted about 2 weeks, which had us very concerned as you could imagine. After a doctor's visit, one-ounce gain over two weeks, a new set of bottles...... we finally got Kaitlynn to start taking her 6-oz. bottles again! However, she prefers to be fed in a completely different way..........

Kaitlynn loves to take her bottle on her back!
Whatever works :)

Kaitlynn's dedication at our church is this coming Sunday - March 14, 2010. Please keep our family in your prayers as we dedicate our daughter to the Lord this coming weekend. Kelly and I want to raise our children in a godly home, and we're so excited about the parent dedication at our church! Keep our families in your prayers as well as they are traveling to Atlanta for this special time!

Lots of Changes & lots of pictures!

Every week proves to have its difficulties and enjoyments! This past week was absolutely crazy, but we're so excited about everything taking place in our life! Updates on our condo..... it took 24 hours to handle all the counter offers before we went under contract! Everything became official on Monday morning. The closing takes place on Friday, March 26th, which also means we have to be out of our condo! The home we're hoping to buy won't be ready until the end of April, so we're working on a temporary place to stay for a month once the closing happens. We'll definitely keep everyone in the loop as things progress!

This week started off with Kaitlynn's 6-month well visit. She weighs 14 lbs. 10th. oz. and measures 25.25 inches in length. Everything checked out great - we're just working on her formula intake since that's nonexistent right now with her teething (i.e. - Monday by bedtime she had a total of 10 oz. of formula - she typically has 20 - 24 oz. by bedtime). Our week continued with taking Kelly to work each morning, errands to Babies-R-Us & the grocery store (finally!!), getting our garage door looked at (being fixed next week), meeting with Cindy at Canterbury to talk about our prospective home, taking Kelly to his post-opp appointment, picking Kelly up for lunch on Friday, and getting everything finalized for Bonnie's baby shower in Greenville!

One exhausted baby! Isn't she precious when she sleeps?!

Kaitlynn loves bath time, so we've moved it to every night :)

We have one adorable baby on our hands.......

Kaitlynn LOVES Clifford!!

Thankfully we were able to relax and enjoy our weekend even while being out of town! We made it into Greenville around noon, had a great time with Bonnie's shower, went out on Saturday night for dinner - just me & the hubby! (it's been 2 months since an out-of-the-house-date) - and spent Sunday relaxing with my mom, brother, sister-in-law, and niece!

Kaitlynn - 6 months....... Elizabeth - 7 months

I am so lucky to stay home with our precious daughter each day!

A few things Kaitlynn has been up to!
She has become quite the little scooter!! Started in play place,
and ended up all the way off by the diaper bag :)
Loving her ExerSaucers & Jumpers more and more each day!
